About The Daily Snark

The Daily Snark is a satire and commentary site covering the world's odd news for readers in the US, the UK and anywhere else people need a laugh.

What we publish

Commentary pieces are built on real, reported news. Every one links to the original reporting in a "The real story" box. The facts are checked; the jokes are ours.

Satire pieces are fiction and carry a red SATIRE label on the page, in the feed and in our share images.

Who publishes it

Editorial standards

We fact-check commentary against at least two reputable sources, fix errors promptly (see Corrections) and never joke about victims of tragedies.

Articles are drafted with AI tools and edited by humans.
